INSTRUCTIONS and HELP What can you create with Web Color Animator? This powerful animation tool by fabulant.com allows you to create eyecatching color-animation-effects for your webpage. Animate scrollbars, background and form elements without programming a single line of code. You can view, check and edit all effects while you are creating them. Web Color Animator generates the finished code for you. Paste the code into your webpage according to the instructions and you are ready to impress your visitors. How can you animate scrollbars, background and form elements? Select an effect with the blue drop down menu (on top of the tool). Then change the colors (see 'how can I change the colors' below). Click 'delete' if you want to start all over again. How can you change colors? Click any small colorized rectangle on the navigation bar to open the color wizard on top of the tool. Configure your color by dragging the red, green and blue color-bar-handles. Or put the RGB or hexadecimal triplet values into the fields (if you do so click button 'show'). Finally click button 'select' to apply your color to the animation. How do you retrieve the code for your animation? If you are pleased with your animation click button 'code'. This will open a new pop-up-window. It contains the finished code for your animation. Click button 'select all' and copy the code. How do you paste the code into your webpage? Open the webpage that will display your animation (any a HTML-file). Use a simple texteditor such as WordPad or NotePad. Word, GoLive, Dreamweaver or Frontpage are not recommende for this task. Now read the instructions inside the code-popup-window carefully. They tell you how you have to paste your code into your webpage. After pasteing the code into your webpage save the webpage as HTML-file and upload it to your host. Can you put more than one animation into your webpage? No, you can not. If you want to display more than one animation you have to use framesets and put them into different frames. IMPORTANT: Web Color Animator requires IE 5.5 or higher (windows). |
