INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:
Prepare your images (slides). Save your images as gif or jpg on your harddisk. The names of your images should have no spaces or funny letters. Wrong: mar%y page.gif. Correct: marypage.gif

Step 2:
Now you are ready to use the slideshow factory. Start with the fields on the left. Set your first slide by clicking button "browse" on the left side navigation bar (the button my have a different name depending on the language-version of your browser). Then type comment, link and target. If you have entered all items for your first slide click button add slide on top. As soon as you have added your first slide the slideshow starts running in realtime (by default Fade 1 Slideshow).

Step 3:
Repeat this procedure (step 2) with all your slides.

Step 4:
If you want to create a different kind of slideshow just select another one with the blue dowp-down-menu on the left.

Step 5:
Some slideshows require that you fill in all fields on the left. Some do not. The green fields must be filled in. The red fields are not required.

Step 6:
Click button edit slides to modify slides, comments, links and targets.

Step 7:
Did you finish your slideshow? Then open a simple texteditor such as WordPad or NotePad (Frontpage, Dreamweaver and GoLive are not recommended). Open your webpage (HTML-file) with your texteditor. What webpage? The webpage that features your slideshow! Click button get code and paste the code into your webpage according to the instructions. Save your webpage on your harddisk.

Step 8:
Now you are ready to test your slideshow offline. IMPORTANT: Put all the slides into the same folder as the webpage that features your slideshow. Then open the webpage with your browser and see if it works.

Step 9:
If everything works fine you may upload your webpage and your slides to your host. IMPORTANT: The slides must be in the same folder as the webpage that features your slideshow.

IMPORTANT:
Slideshow Factory requires IE5.5 or higher (Win 98, ME, XP, 2000, NT).
